Hey Everyone....
We just got back to the Ronald McDonald house.  We have to be back at the hospital at 5:00 am, so I will do most of the updates while Parker is in surgery.  Today has been a big blur.  Parker had his sleepmed echo.  We actually were able to see his heart in 3D.  I have a video that I will try and post tomorrow that you can see the VSD's.  While Parker was waking up from the echo he pulled his feeding tube out again.  They tried to place it again and he had another episode and his stats went in the low 70's.  So he is now on IV fluids.  They decided since we were so close to surgery to not upset him anymore than they had to.  We met with Dr. Bradley and he is really a unique person.  Willis and I feel extremely confident with him as Parker's surgeon.  Dr. Bradley has decided to fix everything in one surgery but could not promise that.  Parker will be placed on a bypass for 5 hours and will have a blood transfusion.  We just pray that his heart will accept everything that he corrects.  Parker has slept most of the day and has done well with everything.  Willis and I went back up to his room and laid our hands on his chest tonight and prayed for him.  This will bring you to your knees quick.  We both layed Parker at the throne of God and left him at the foot of Christ.  If you have never had to do this, it is extremely difficult.  But God's grace will amaze us all.  We told Parker that he could only play with his guardian angels for a little while and then he had to come back to us.  We love you all and please be in prayer all day tomorrow.
Love In Christ,

P.S. Derrick said he and Parker had a little chat the other night and that he gave him some pointers. He's pulling for his little buddy!!

  2. Amy and Willis,
We are praying for you all. We pray that God guides every move of every hand while he is in surgery and that there would be a peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray for wisdom for all who are involved in this situation and pray that all that is done and said is for God's glory. What a testimony Parker is and will continue to be as he grows older. We are praying for you both and the rest of the family. Take care and stay strong!

    Sincerely,
    The McRoberts
