Good Morning...
It's raining cats and dogs in Charleston this morning!  Willis and I had to call security to bring us to the hospital this morning due to the rain.  We have been here since 5:00 am, and have been up since 4:15 am.  They allowed us to spend 30 minutes with Parker before taking him down to pre-op.  He gave us a big smile when we walked in.  All of his nurses were impressed that Parker wasn't crying this morning because he has not had anything to eat since yesterday at 4:00 pm.  That's just God keeping Parker happy.  Our immediate family had a chance to love on him before we left.  The nurse came to Parker's room at 5:30 and let me carry him down to the pre-op holding room.  Willis and I met the anesthesiologist and he explained what he would be doing for Parker and that his sedation would work immediately, and that he would not remember a thing!!  Handing him to the OR doctor was the hardest thing we have ever done in our life.  It almost took our breath away.  God's love has surrounded us in an astonishing way this morning.  Holding back the tears is more difficult than ever.  Our prayer this morning is in the OR with the doctors and nurses that will be with our little boy.  We will be giving updates as we go throughout the morning.  We don't have our pager yet, so hopefully we will be getting that soon.  They did tell us not to expect our first update until 9:00 or 9:30.  Please pray for our family.  This is more than difficult!
We love you all,
