Hey Everybody...
Our neurologist called us personally to let us know that our eight hour EEG showed no signs of seizure activity! And we couldn't be more thankful! Parts of us really wanted the test to show something so we would know where these starring spells are coming from, but so thankful that nothing showed at the same time...because the medicines we were given as options for treatment are not only hard on your liver but your heart as well! So BLESSED to say the least! We have been extremely busy this week, and catching up on our blog has not been at the top of my list. With Christmas sneaking up on us, and check lists getting longer by the day....there seems to not be much time left over for myself or our blog! Willis and I went to our annual Christmas party for my office and it was seriously the first date we have been on in a year.....awkward I know! We really didn't know how to act! All of our extra time has been on Parker's medical needs and helping Karlyn with her studies to remain on the honor roll this year that there hasn't been much time left for us! We love our children don't get me wrong...but it sure was nice to have a night out with adults! Anyway....Christmas is my favorite time of year. I love the excitement that is in the air, the hustle and bustle of the crowds and the cold weather that forces you to buy hot chocolate! I hope and pray that you all are able to enjoy this special time of year, and in all of the things you may have on your list this Christmas, I pray that you don't forget about the true celebration and the sweet baby Jesus that came to save our world! We love you all dearly and can't wait to update you all on new pics this Christmas, since we are not stuck in a hospital room at MUSC or Richland Memorial Children's Hospital! YEAH!!!
